Fay made Shindig – a heartfelt indie game about how none of us are broken, we’re all just different shapes – with her husband.

Fay taught herself how to draw, animate and compose music so she could make games from scratch.

Fay voiced nearly all the characters in her debut game, and did the voice for Mistress Rose in Overlord back in the day.

Fay taught herself how to play the ukulele and she’s not too bad at it, in the grand scheme of things.

Fay created her own YouTube channel where she covers songs and puts up some she’s written. Her cover of Running Up That Hill somehow has several thousand views, and people seem to like her version of Kaze no Ne.

Fay beat Yiazmat in FF12. (It took hours.)

Fay worked up from freelance writer, to junior, to head of a team at Nintendo. Then she left to set up her own company.

Fay wrote some words that Mr Iwata said this one time. She wrote quite a few words you’ll have seen in lots of places, but you won’t have known they were hers..

Fay still believes in kindness, despite everything.
